Trident BI Ltd operates the Trident Pulse platform accessible at tridentpulse.ai and via our Android mobile application. We are the data controller for personal information collected through these services.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data when you use our platform:

  • Account information -name, email address, and password (hashed) provided at registration.
  • Authentication data -OAuth tokens if you sign in via Google, Facebook, or Microsoft.
  • Usage data -pages visited, features used, session duration, and interaction events.
  • Device & technical data -IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Portfolio & trade data -paper trades, watchlists, and alert configurations you create within the platform.
  • Payment data -billing information processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
  • Push notification tokens -Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens for delivering alerts to your device.

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data only for the following purposes:

  • Create and manage your account and subscription.
  • Deliver pattern detections, alerts, and platform features.
  • Process payments and manage billing.
  • Send push notifications and email alerts you have opted in to.
  • Improve platform performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.
  • Respond to customer support requests.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data for automated individual decision-making that produces legal effects.

  • Contract -processing necessary to deliver the services you have subscribed to.
  • Legitimate interests -platform security, fraud prevention, and product analytics.

  • Legal obligation -compliance with applicable law.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We share data only with trusted service providers who process it solely on our behalf under binding data processing agreements:

  • Clerk -authentication and user management.
  • Stripe -payment processing.
  • Vercel -hosting and infrastructure.
  • Firebase / Google -push notification delivery.
  • Neon / PostgreSQL -encrypted database storage.
  • Upstash Redis -caching and rate limiting.

All providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies only to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies. You can control cookie settings in your browser; however, disabling essential cookies will prevent the platform from functioning.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure -we cannot guarantee absolute security but take all reasonable precautions to protect your data.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access -request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification -ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure -request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Portability -receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Restriction -ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances.
  • Objection -object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent -at any time for consent-based processing (e.g. marketing).

Trident Pulse is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
